StudyCrafter is a free playful platform where users can create, play, and share research projects to understand human behavior. In StudyCrafter people can create gamified scientific research via node based scripting and a SVG based GUI for players (think Scratch but for science). The platform is easy for researchers, students, and citizen scientists with no programming experience to make simple games that collect data and provide analytics.
My role for StudyCrafter was to help with the design and research of the platform itself, and to design several games inside of StudyCrafter for a player profiling project spearheaded by Casper Harteveld, a professor at Northeastern University.
